Basurero will be screening at the Anatolian Short Film Festival 2021 on February 3

Basurero’s next stop is in Istanbul, Turkey, for the Anatolian Short Film Festival 2021.

The Anatolian Short Film Festival is an online-monthly international short film festival. The mission of the festival is to offer international short film directors the chance to showcase their films.  It also aims to create a short film viewing platform, and this year, it is held via online screenings.

We are thrilled to be part of this eclectic festival featuring shorts showcased from all over the world.  The screening will be held all day on February 3rd– free and available online. 

Basurero is part of Cinema Sala Cares’ Typhoon Relief Screening & Fundraiser

Cinema Sala Shorts are back, and we are happy that Basurero will be screening alongside four other amazing short films from the Philippines.  This amazing short film block is curated by Marie Jamora for our Typhoon Relief Fundraiser, in partnership with World Vision Philippines this month.   It aims to assist the people deeply affected by the destructive typhoons that have hit our homeland in recent times.

Darlene Catly Malimas, one of our Producers, and Direk Eileen Cabiling will be present for a Q&A with the other filmmakers during the event.
