Basurero Wins Best International Short Film at the FICSLP 2020

Basurero bags the Best International Short Film Award at the Festival Internacional de Cine de San Luis Potosi.

This was announced by Alex Kahuam, one of the members of the jury on December 10, 2020.

The FICSLP is a festival that promotes, supports, and assists in improving the talents of local, national, and international creators,  through the exhibitions, projections, cine clubs, festivals, contests, competitions of the festival.  It aims to sustain the growing community of captive creators and spectators, under a dynamic exhibition forum, offering to screen and compete, as well as promote the development of short, medium-length, and feature-length productions.

Basurero bags the Best Cinematography for a Short Film Award from the Asian Cinemtography Awards and the Cinematography Awards Foundation

We are proud to announce that Basurero was awarded with the Best Cinematography for a Short Film award (for September 2020) by the Asian Cinematography Awards and the Cinematography Awards Foundation.

Congratulations to our brilliant cinematographer, Jae Hyuk Lee, and his crew!  You truly shine the light Jae.  We are grateful for the work that you have put into our film.  Basurero wouldn’t be as excellent as it is without it.
